First timers/ solo players

What's the procedure for new players visiting PBC for the first time and solo? Do you let the ref's know you are by yourself? Do you have to have a team or will you likely get picked up in a game? When i visited the store several days ago for air it seemed that you paid your money...got air...chrono the gun... and wait by some picnic tables....then several groups were led away by refs. Are most people willing to help a newbie?

are u looking for speedball or recball...?
no if your by ur self for recball there is usually 1 big group on sunday and saturday
thts pretty much wat u do u pay get ur air if u need it chrono and get everything ready
yes look for refs and tell them ur a newbie and they wont laugh at u or ask random people ur choice

you dont have to come with people if you play recball or speedball. For recball, like jimbo said, you just come, pay ur money, get everything ready, and listen to the refs, they will tell you when to line up and they will make teams....

for speedball you can be alone too, but it might be a little odd if your coming alone, because most people that play know each other....but I mean you can still come n get to know people.

And remember, staff @ PBC is very friendly, so dont be afraid to ask questions.

yeah and if you keep going you'll start to know the regulars and most of the refs :)

youll be fine, the first time i was there everyone was very helpful, and more than willing to help me with what ever i didnt know "sense i was new i didnt really know much about anything:)" everyone is there to have a good time, just keep that in mind.
