I think on your homepage you should show what you sell at your store. Other than the paint. You guys have alot of stuff you should display it!

you know how much stuff goes in and out of the store? Sit in the store for about 10 minutes on a sat. and watch. You will be amazed. Just ask joey(lol jk joey) it would be so hard to keep like a live inventory system.

Didn't see any posts about it... Only been to Charleston Paint Ball once... Got hooked. Was looking into buying stuff and since I liked how they ran things I figured I would support them. Went to the website trying to price stuff and figure what they had. Easier than driving out there after work. I'm not saying a full inventory of everything but stuff you always have on hand. Just a suggestion. I cant for this Saturday though... Should be fun since we booked a private event.

you can call the store until 7pm each night during the week. geoff, brad, billy, or casey (or whoever is still there) can check on what you are looking for or answer any questions.

If you are interested in having an online order site I could help you out with that. I've got plenty of web programming experience and a lot of the items that you may be sold out of could be marked in the description so they know they might not get it the same day but they'll get it whenever you get it in stock. Believe me, there are some nights where I just want to buy a few things and I end up buying them through SpecOps since they have most of the stuff ya'll have in-store. I could design a website and the only costs you would really have to pay would be credit card processing fees (small?) and shipping (which the customer will pay for.)

Paintball Charleston is not a big enough business for it to make sense to do this. PBC keeps a pretty low stock on their items compared to actual website businesses, who have to maintain a huge stock to accomodate sales that come in all the time. Besides not having the inventory/space for inventory for a website busness, PBC's inventory is not set up where they know exactly how many of which exact product are in stock at any given time. Next time you buy something, notice that they don't scan a barcode or enter an item number or anything else used to keep inventory. This means they wouldn't be able to do the "live update" thing like other websites without counting each individual product. This whole internet busines idea would probably require at least one person at Paintball Charleston to just keep inventory, ship items, count inventory, fill orders, etc. Also, National, and many other big website businesses, (Actionvillage, etc.) are able to sell products on their websites much cheaper then it would be feasable for Paintball Charleston to sell their limited selection of wares. All in all, though it might be an idea, it's not the best one yet. It is not feasable to do and turn a profit (the whole idea of a business, remember?) with the current state of Paintball Charleston.

i think what hes trying to say is not an online inventory but a list of the items PBC sells and the prices and not if thier instock or anything?

but then we wpuld have hundreds of people saying " o well i thought u had them in stock because they were on your website" and we would have people deterred from buying because items were not on our website.

Or it would get more people interested.
just make it clear that these items could have already been sold. It would also make them hurry to buy it.
And if you dont have it, and they said "well i thought u had them in stock because they were on your website" then order one for them and tell them it will be there in a week.

then we have to do 150 orders for diff. people instead of 2 or 3 mass orders of stuff. its just not in our best intrest when you can call 7days a week @ 552-1115 to check our current inventory
