Field play.

I have a couple of recomendations for the field. The first is on a regular day have bordercrossing go farther back. on the villigage side it could go to the first roadway. the otherside could go uptop the hill/cliff thingy. Another recomendation is to let the two tanks play in the hour long games on weekends.

I like the tank idea. But wouldn't it be hard to reff the village if the borders went into the woods as well? Other then that that sounds pretty cool

first suggestion would make border crossing so boreing you wouldn't belive it ..

the game would take forever

second suggestion .. you know how much work goes into getting those tanks set up
all the confusion with people who have never seen a paintball tank ..
the mortar rounds people would have to have and all the nerf footballs on the ground .. it would be hell ..
tanks are for scenarios not rec ball

what are you talking about? I never said anything about play field 1 or 2 during the hour long. and if you told the crowd that there were going to be paintball tanks, they wouldnt be confused.

and how do you have to prepare the tank based on the golf cart? Isn't it electric?

and btw. they used a paintball tank in an hour long at least once that i'm aware of. it was a while ago though. it was more of a half track

the GLK tank is based off of an AWD gasoline powered golf cart thing.

the only problem with the tanks idea, is that the field would be too small to have any kind of interesting tank battle. And the tanks (just like the players) would have to stay on their respective sides, until the last 15 minutes of the game. makign it pretty boring...

tank would never work. It would be a pain more than anything, and If you had one, you would have to get two, so then all its gunna be is two tanks shootin at each other, and the occasional player.

plus for the hour long you would have to keep people away from the tanks, and for a normal saturday, there just isnt much room out there with 250-300 people on 3 fields.

ya but in the summer whne theres like 300 people playing then it would be a good idea to play because thatys like a mini scenario, and how fast do the tanks go

walking speed, Remember many tanks are built on automobile chasis, dont wanna hit 30-40mph on a PB Field, with players and impaired vision... Although tank 'drifting' would be cool.....
