yes. but you'd probably still be running CO2. and steel braided line would be better suited for that purpose.

yes weither you have steel braided or macro line it will run the same. macro line doesnt decrease your operating pressure. but im afraid a macro line fitting wont fit in the valve and still be able to screw the 2 halves together. the macro fittings are 7/16'' in by about 1/2''. while the biggest part on a steel braided is 7/16'' thats just big enough to get a wrench around. marco line fittings are too long...

this is very true. i did not take into consideartion the size of the hole in the body. however, you could dremel the hole to be just a bit wider and it wouldn't hurt anything...

besides, the only advantage you'll get from macroline is that you'll be able to take it out and put it back in easier.
