A bear is standing next to a large lake in the middle of the forest. The bear is following a fly that is buzzing around its head.
A hunter is standing on the other side of the lake on the shore. He is on the hunt for a bear. He sees the bear next to the lake and waits for his shot. The hunter has a ham sandwhich in his top pocket.
A mouse is standing near the lake in the middle of the forest. The mouse smells the ham sandwich and sees where it is coming from. The mouse waits to make its move on the sandwich.
A cat is stalking the mouse and is waiting patiently to make its move.
The bear takes a swing at the fly and knocks it down, which in turn gives the hunter the shot at the bear. As the hunter fires, the mouse makes a run for the sandwich. The cat pounces for the mouse but lands in the lake because the mouse had moved to get the ham sandwich.
The question is "What's the moral of the story?"
