This is my first scenario! Sweet! I have questions:
I assume there is camping allowed and all that? How early do we need to get there to get a good spot? Can we camp Friday night? When is check in on Gameday? Anything else I need to know?

I also have a .43cal pistol...is that OK? Forms say .68only...I wouldn't think going smaller would be a problem.

I dont think anything but 68 cal is allowed but im not for sure. Registration is like whenever they open it up on sat. morning. Normally brain allows camping friday definately sat. but talk to brain about the scenarios
no...you can register right now, in fact is is much easier and less expensive if you do it sooner then later. yes there is camping, yes, you can camp on friday night, yes, you must use .68 cal markers

Thanks guys. How about the first day stuff...what time do we need to be there for the "front end" info.
Out of curiosity, why is .43cal not allowed? It only shoots about 200fps with a limited range.
Thanks for the info!

The majority of insurance policies state .68cal somewhere in the binder. Many fields are not insured and overlook this. I am sure the reason for this is so that someone doesn't use a huge paintball that would have enough inertia to dislodge a mask. Unfortunately this also covers smaller paintballs.

.43 cal paintballs are able to pass between the openings in masks (such as JT proflexes) very easy and therefore create the chance to shoot out someones eye; even though the paintball isn't headed straight toward the eye, it can shoot at an angle and hit your upper face- with .68 cal, the ball cannot pass through the openings and cannot reach the face from the bottom of the mask

basically, all the insurance companies are paranoid.

Of course you could go to a field without insurance if you aren't "paranoid."

OK, that makes a little sense about the .43cal. And yes, insurance companies are paranoid. I have seen a guys out there (PBC) with .43 pistols...is it just overlooked? Is it a "nod your head yes and say no" policy?

First off, any paintball under 68 cal is not allowed on the fields. You may shoot it in the chrony range but not on the field.
Camping will be open at 10am on Friday the 10th. I will assign spaces based on the number of people/tents/vehicles.
Registration is open NOW and I suggest you not wait to long. We expect over 200 to attend this event from out of town allowing only another 300 from here. This event should be the biggest one we will have ever had to date.
The game will start at 11am on Saturday but you will need to be there around 9am to get paint/air/patches, etc.
I am hoping to get a band on Friday nite to "entertain".
If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
