i know that different paintballs affect the accuracy a little but if i bought a box that costs 60$ when i could buy one for 40$ will it have enough affect to notice?:confused1bb:

yes cheap paint gets deformed very quickly thus chopping in your gun/not shooting straight

For the flatline From what I have heard you want to use smaller bore paintballs such as marballizer. (well that is what I use)

Well also you should try to straiten up the flatline barrel just in case. But my friend uses a flatline and it works perfect with origin. Well for him at least.

well i used origin in the scenario and it was great but when i played last weekend it sucked.................but i was using paint i'd had since the scenario but the box wasn't even opened so that shouldn't matter. {i bought 3 boxes but only used 1 1/2}.

if its been sitting for that long chances are it got dimpled. If you are gonna keep paint for that long you need to flip the bags over every so often.

If you want to keep paint for any length of time I would recommend doing like Grendel does. Rotate it weekly and put a package of desicant (sp) in each bag to absorb any moisture.

the flatline barrel for 98 custom is a .692 bore. the barrel needs slightly smaller paint to get the proper backspin on the ball. with most barrels the key is paint to barrel match. a paintball with a snug fit would have the best performance. with the flatline i would get a bore gauge or use a friends barrel kit and find a ball around .687. the price difference is mostly the fill and quality. All of our paint is of good quality vs. "supermarkets" which stock their paint months before sale. I sized some of the proball for a customer last weekend and it was slightly smaller then his .689 barrel so next time u play try some of that
