OK I'm building a sniper 2. What would you guys recommend?

How to start? Do I start with a frame and body? Then internals or what. Or should I just buy something like an old mini-orracle off ebay and start with that.

Then, I will put an old style matte black body on it or a cool fleeflow body, a gen-x reg, ccm pump kit, ultralite barrel, checkit unimount

Then, i will shoot fools in the grill area with it. If it works.

But yea, any help or suggestions would be great. I talked to Jake and he said to start with a body and back block then to get a slider frame, and so on.

I would set it up similar to Brad's, Matt's, Mine, or anyone that may also have a similar set up (Maybe Casey, not sure if yours is like this).
Right feed body, tornado valve, lightning bolt, ultra lite, check it, ccm pump kit, you should look at a side winder reg, high end internals are key. Set it up right and you will have a fine gun.

thanks dugan: is this a good site to help me in the process? http://www.ottersccustoms.com/ac-customizer.html#body

so find a body on pbn or ebay, buy aka lightning bolt, tornado valve, and either sidewinder reg or gen-x reg??? which is better for low pressure- im assuming the sidewinder.

and what is the mighty-max, part of a 3way so i dont need it or what?

which lightning bolt? aluminum, nickel or delrin

Sidewinder is better of those 2 or you could also go with a CP reg those are the bomb. Go with the delrin bolt and I don't know what a mighty max or a 3 way is. Sorry if I should.

k so: im going to get a right feed budy, AKA lightning bolt, AKA sidewinder reg, AKA tornado valve, checkit unimount, dye ultralite, ccm 2k+ pump kit...

now, what frame??? slider???
and do i need detents???

One of those dye hinge frames would be cool or a regular slider frame and the body should come with detents

I've got several sniper 2's and over time I have chosen these parts for my preference and performance. I prefer the R/F 2k2 WGP body, Freeflow internals, Genx-2 reg, Shocktech Superfly Bolt, CCM pump kit, CCM back block and most definitely an Ultralite.

Oh, I almost forgot.. One of the most important items... A brass eagle pocket hopper... Woot!

My sniper 2 has the CCM pump Kit (love it), AKA tornado valve, Superfly bolt, CCM hammer (pretty heavy), and maddmann springs. Im also running a CP reg and a Jt or CP barrel. For some reason my ultralight shoots liek crap on my sniper 2 but shoots great on any other gun?

I also have a Belsales 45 Angry Trigger frame, with a New Designz roller sear and a trigger shoe. The trigger is soooo smooth, definarelty a good trigger frame if you can find em.

But I think the key like dugan said is the internals, good valve, good hammer, and a huge spring kit for tinkering with pressures.

Yep, I forgot the madman springs which I use in my snipers.. :D

My personal items of coice:

Body (personal preference. Pick one you like)
Torndado valve (Can be finicky, but they are the best flowing valves I have found)
Heavy hammer (I have one of the old heavy FF hammers. Just get the heaviest you can find)
Pump kit (personal choice again)
ANS Quickfire trigger frame
Gen-X 2 reg (The bigger the guage the better....lol)
AKA Lightning bolt (The particulars are personal preference)
Madman Spring kit
Dye Boomstick (Old style)
Lastly, a quality HPA tank. Personally I prefer to have the heaviest Sniper II on the planet, so I have an AGD flatline 47ci 3000. It is one of the original AGD tanks and weighs as much as the gun. Light isn't always your friend. A heavy gun provides a steady firing platform....Unless you are a girly man and can't handle 10 pounds......

so i can't figure this out- do i want the ccm mini pump kit or the regular, and do i want the sidewinder reg or the gen-x (i want best efficiency at low pressure)

Regular CCM and the sidewinder.

i agree with dugan even though i have a ANS reg but mine also uses a LP tank and runs off 350PSI so yeh

wgp orracle delrin bolt (getting freeflow delrin soon)
freeflow hammer
stock valve (getting freeflow valve soon)

DeepFreeze

That is your preference. Do you like it long, short, or thick?
