View Full Version : Sniper 2 almost finished

Ok if you havent realized ive been trying build a sniper 2. Thanks to clark, jeff, casey and brad that has almost happened.

but that is where the almost kicks in... i have internals and was told by brad and clark that i was missing some internals. so i went home and i think i found the pieces. here is a picture please tell me if im missing a peice i do have a gold peice that i dont know how to get out but here is a picture.

looks like you have everything you need internal wise except a valve jam nut and a bolt and pin. i may have a nut ill bring it w/ me if i stop by the field 2mrw.

you do NOT need the 3rd thing from the left of your bottem picture.

other than that its looks to be a pretty decent low budget sniper2.

unless im mistaken that is a valve jam nut in between his main and valve springs

thats his valve retaining nut. ...the jam nut is the 1 you need the tool for.

The jam nut is an outer threaded nut with an allen screw shaped internal hole. If you took everything out of your gun then you did not remove it. If you are replacing your internals with those shown then you have everything you need and just have to remove the jam nut with a large (3/8"?) allen wrench. I am going of some alcohol/age depleted brain cells for the wrench size, but it should be somewhere around that.

well it just so happens i lay my gun next to the peice i think im missing very odd. but once a problem is finshed another one starts...yes yes the same old leakage. normally i fix it but i think i need just like a cm longer. but who ever is woring in the shop tomarrow expect me.
