Gun not working

Ok, I tried to air up my gun to dry fire a little to empty my tank and it wouldn't fire. I added now batteries and tried to adjust the velocity up but it still wasn't fireing. Also I tried to loosen the tank and tighten it but still nothing. I haven't taken the gun apart lately so I can't find out what is wrong. I need it to be working by tommorow so that I can play. Please help!

turn the eyes off perhaps? you said you were gonna dry fire it after all. it will only shoot w/o paint if the eyes are turned off. if that doesnt work then its definately the battery. you say youve changed the "batteries" but an ion only has 1 battery so that makes me kinda feel like youre unsure as to what your doin.

put in a BRAND NEW battery(this mean takes 1 outta the package, not use 1 you think is good that you took outta your remote controll car or smoke detector ect..). done deal.

when the bettery gets to a certian low point. the gun will turn on and the light will flash but theres still not enough power to make the solenoid work.

also now that youve adjusted the hell outta the reg it would be smart to zero the reg out before you air the gun up again. that way when it finally does work you dont have 500+ psi goin into your solenoid.

The eyes were off. I got a brand new battery in it right out of the box. And I adjusted the hell out of the reg..... still not working, I will fill my tank tommorow and test it again. Conclusion, I hate smart parts.

Ok, now it will shoot about ten shots then have shoot down to where it won't shoot at all and the solinoid clicking.

Orange body kit, and also I have adjusted the board to make it faster.

theres your problem right there. guarenteed. geoff will tell you 2mrw when u bring it in to him and say "well i only adjusted the board to make it faster"

there is no debounce setting on a stock ion board, pbc doesnt allow ramping which would be your ONLY other way of making your gun faster. that means you changed a setting you wernt supposed to...

Set everything back to normal and it still doesn't work. So far what I learned is that this thing will never be fixed.
And Casey can you ever not be a jerk.

open her up and loosen or tighten up the qevs this can cause this problem it doesnt let the air get into the chamber not alowing the gun to shoot...(know this from experiance when i replaced my stock board for a blackheart...conclution=if you open up an ion and dont know exactly what you are doing you are going to break it... bring it to the store.

it's just annoying when people bring their guns in and screw the gun up because of board settings.. i don't even work in the store and when i've lost count of the people ive seen come in there and say "i can't get it off ramping"

the problem has been fixed. as i said earlier and also got called a jerk for. it was his "brand new" battery which was dead.

btw wubby, i know what you mean. But there are a fair amount of inexperienced people who get expensive equipment that they don't know how to work. Its not completely horrible of them to ask a more experienced player or someone off of staff for help.

i'm not saying a question about how it works is a bad thing, i'm saying making ignorant changes thinking you know what your doing is a problem..
