i have an 02 vert feed cocker w/ stock everything except for kapp beavertail, boblong reg, and ANS venturi bolt. I am planning to get the following this summer. eclipse E2 kit, 14inch all american barrel, delrin bolt and delrin pull pin. I was wanting to reduce the weight a little bit and was wondering what would be the best way to do so without buying a new body.

Featherlite milling... (am I right here?) Can't say the All american is the lightest choice in barrels, but it is my favorite hands down. CCM also makes a delrin back block if delrin is your thing. Also talk to Matt at the store he can help you the most when it comes to cockers.

Honestly, the reg, loader and tank will be the heaviest parts of the gun unless you get a Stainless barrel. There is not a lot of noticeable weight reduction you can do without some body-work. Maybe you should look into lighter back blocks and front blocks to shave a few ounces.

Yea, you're not gonna make it much lighter, and buying a new body would be the cheaper way of reducing the weight...any milling is gonna cross the $200's easily. You can find new/used bodies starting probably around half that at $100ish depending on the body...

The only ones that i can find alot of are the freeflow rythm and lotus. Are there anyother ones that are on the market. Which is the lightest? I have kindof been away from the paintball scene for about two years and in that time cocker part variety has reduced a good bit. I was also wondering if kapp still is in business?

There are hundreds of bodies out there. Spanky used to make some nice looking ones, but they often had tolerance issues. www.firebalmountain.com has some nice bodies.
