I got this from a family friend who upgraded to a brand new Yamaha electric start 25. He used this motor at least twice a week for 15 years or so and took great care of it. It's in pretty decent shape for being used that much. Last time he took it out he said it acted funny, like it wasn't running on all cylinders and he had to keep pumping the gas bulb to keep it running. Might just need fresh gas, might just need a carb cleaning, might just need the fuel filter swapped out, might need a rebuild. I don't know and I don't have the time, money, patience, or boat for it to make sense for me to figure it out and fix it up. It comes with a stainless prop and a gas tank too. I have the title in hand.
I'm selling it AS IS for $300 cash. Or I'll consider a trade for a Remington 870 shotgun(of equal value).
