So far, it's wet and only about three teams showed up to walk fields. We actually helped set up the fields. The layout is the NXL field for Chicago.

Hey guys, here's some info on us today. We were supposed to have 4 matches today but only had 3 because of time delay's which would have caused our last match to end somewhere around 8-830 tonight so we will play that match in the morning at 9. So far we have done somewhat well but not great, here are the scores:

Goon Squad vs. Thrash (lost) 4-3 (Issues on their 4th point, they should not have it)
Goon Squad vs. Panic (win) 5-0
Goon Squad vs. Dark Carnival (lost) 5-0
Goon Squad vs. Misled _________

Here is a some up of our games:
Thrash: game was back and forth the entire time point for point, the 4th point that they recieved should not have been given to them. I was the last one left on a 3 on 1 and the reff on the other side of the field said I was shot "inside" of the barrel and was playing on (and no I was not shot "inside" the barrel) and since that there was less then 1 min 30 sec on the start of that point, they could not go into Sudden Death and by the time all of the arguing about what happened and how every reff seemed to have a different opinion on what happen was over, the final outcome was that they recieved that point and won that match.

Panic: The team played great, it was the best that I personally have seen us play. Moves were fast, snap shooting was dead on, all in all it was a great match and the team played VERY well.

Dark Carnival: I personally believe that our modivation level went from very high to very low since the fields were behind almost an hour and a half, we had to wait after our 2nd game for around 5 1/2 hours in the heat. The team was worn out it seemed. The team played hard but was overpowered on the field, our moves were countered before we could see them happen.

I'll have another report for our last game tommorow afternoon some how.

In the game with Thrash the crap with the penalty in the last 5 seconds screwed us and gave them the point. We had another point that was pulled when Paul bunkered their last guy on one of the earlier points. Then Alex was on his way to hang the flag and the refs said that the guy Paul shot was still alive cause he got Pual first. Pretty amazing since he never saw it coming. So they took that point from us and Alex traded with the re-incarnated guy for a tied point. This was the point that could have won us the game in the end. One day we'll get the calls to go our way...maybe.

Well, we won two and almost tied a third out of four games. Barely missed the cut but we're starting to figure out this X ball stuff. The team that beat us on Saturday was Dark Carnival. They kicked our butt then we all went out for BBQ afterwards. Congrats to them on taking first.
