hay i just bought a sniper 2 and the cocking rod keeps coming loss.is this ok,if not what do i need 2 do 2 fix

Is the cocking rod coming lose from the back block or the actually pump?

your hammer might be stripped, but ive never heard of that before. Is it your cocking rod stick out under the bolt, or the part b/w the handle and backblock

then you may have a stripped hammer or rod. check the threads on both

Put some blue loctite on it. Let the loctite dry before putting the cocking rod back in the gun and then replace it. That should provide you enough friction to prevent it from coming "loss" while allowing you to remove it in the future.
If you had stripped the hammer or cocking rod it wouldn't screw into the gun. It would just poke into the hammer and pull back out without having to unscrew it.

no.
the cocking rods on my cockers always unscrew a bit from playing. i just tighten them back in between games. always check so you dont lose it.
