you normally have to be seen by these teams to be picked up. gridlock however, has tryouts normally a few weeks after cup.

Here ya go...
Ultimate (Pro)/ Ultimate Kidz is located in Canton GA, about 6 hours from Charleston, 2 1/2 (?) from Atlanta. They are demanding (I myself was kicked off for missing practices), but if your looking for a serious team call Ted at 770 345 1356 as they are usualy more than welcome to scope out new talent. Youve also got countless CFOA teams there including disabled and deranged assassins. I will point out, however, that Phili American players do play at Paintball Atlanta quite often and help the team(s) out. Some coming off Team Xtreme in the past, they are kind enough to stick to their roots and have practices maybe once every 2 to 3 months (not the whole team, just past GA ballers).

Xtreme and 2 Xtreme (DII DIII) are located in Paintball Atlanta, about 45 minutes from downtown. Its new location is very tournament friendly with nppl and xball setups. Paint prices are outrageous there, so if your looking into that as an option be prepared to pay (litteraly) your dues before getting discounts.

Gridlock (DI DII DIII) floats around the PBC owned sports parks (like robbie said) in upper SC and NC. Tryouts are indeed after cup but they ave picked up quite a few players since then this season. Teams of gridlock are pretty hazy at this point, so many people out at practices who would much rather grab a few players from different rankings and play events. PM me if your interested in getting in touch there. Trauma is a whole different ball game, unless your a prodigy of paintball (jimbo...) then chances are youll be spending alot of time with gridlock.

Misled is also based out of GA, practicing out of maximum paintball. They are planning on jumping to the national circuit within the next few events from the cfoa.

Infectious in SC likes to consider themselves a national team. You might see them in chicago if your looking to talk to some people.

It all depends on where your going to live and how far your willing to drive (realistically) EVERY weekend.

Yea countless cfoa teams littered throughout the SC/GA area, the best of course being charleston's own goon squad and sc vanquish :D .

Anyway, PM me if you want any phone numbers.

You're just going to have to check out the fields in the area. I've heard about http://ontargetpaintballga.com/ in Macon, but never been there. It's close to you. For a little more serious playing you should check with the teams in Atlanta. I'm not sure what the guys at www.fatcityonline.com are doing these days but they used to have some decent players. And as Ryan said above, www.ultimatepaintballgeorgia.com has some good teams, if they just had a nice(flat) field it would be great. There's also http://www.bigdaddyspaintball.net on the other side of Atlanta, and http://www.rushpaintballinc.com in Augusta. That should get you started.

I've been to ontarget before b/c my grandparents live in Warner Robins. They had a pretty nice field and were building more when I was there. Worth checking it out.
