man, i just got this ion for free, (eyes dont work, just needs new board), well i was installing a qev, the body is in the way, it wont screw in. so i forced it, vuala (yeah im an idiot) the qev screw part got stuck. tried everything, so come to conclusion to buy a new breech. Im hoping PBC got some, anyone know? if not, do you guys have an extra breech lol? pm me if you do. ill take suggestions on how to take it off. tried super glue, i threaded a screw in the stuck circle, glued the screw on it..it wont come off, the screw just unscrews rather than taking the piece with it. suggestions? and i know ton of people have ions, so have a breech? give it for free? lol or ill buy it haha, pm me.

Your best bet is to bring it into the store before you do anymore damage to it. I have been able to remove most of the broken fittings that have been brought in.

or they make an ion breach that has autococker threads...that would be a nice replacement/upgrade

Thants a good deal.

You could also buy a new breach from NDZ, Lucky or Sanchez machine. They all provide autococker threaded breachs for the ION.

My friend broke a banjo fitting off manhandling his ion while he was at my house- I went and got a drill bit that fits the screw hole and turned the drill bit left while pressing it against the broken off fitting. You can use a drill to turn it, but chances are the fitting isn't in there that tight, so it will come out with hand power. And do this only if the shop can't fix it.

thanks for the suggestions but ive tried the drill thing, the threads just happens to disappear lol. already buying jimbos parts. YAY. and Casey, he actually mentioned who made those so called breeches. but its never bad to say something twice, and how many times did your parents say to clean your rooms? you always finally do it the second time or third. lol
