So I have a digital video camera. How the heck do I grab the moment in time I want on that video and make it a file and then subsiquently upload it to the interweb??
I have a usb cable that I can plug my camera into my computer with but all I seem to be able to do is watch the video.
Your help is appreciated.

windows movie maker is free comes with all the PC's but when you hook the camera up to the computer go into "my computer" and click the listing that sounds/looks the most like the camera/camera-brand. then open that file and move the video by drag and dropping it in "my vise's" section of your computer

your "free" trial version is on the top right. It says you only get 30 days but i have had the same download for like 7 months now.

photobucket. if theres a way you can save the video file from your camera to your computer. then you can just upload it from there.
