Question about air speed?

Hello everyone,

I have a recon tac 5 and I am curious as to what I can do to speed up the velocity? When I come out to the range I am registering about 150's. I have adjusted the screw as far as it can go and get nothing more. I am running a nitro tank. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

is it a low pressure tank? try HP tank and see. also adjust the screw out and see what happens.

I am a newbie...so sorry for the dumb questions, but what is the difference between High pressure and Low pressure?

on tanks, if it has a red reg on it, it is HIGH pressure-- meaning reg is putting out about 800-850psi

if it is blue, it is LOW pressure-- meaning reg is putting out about 400-450psi.

some markers need HP to function properly (ie, achieve standard velocity). while most markers can work with HP, alot cannot function with LP.

Mine is JT 3000 psi 50 cubic inches, also I have 2 screws

best bet would be to stop by the store some time durin the week. they can help you a lot better than we can...especially if were having a hard time interpreting what ur sayin cause u dont know how to explain it...take it by the store
