dow33 is great on a shocker, and you can buy a big tube of it from grainger for about $14 (5.3 oz).

hater sauce is nice but a little more expensive ($16 for 3oz)
mookies is good... $7-8 for 2oz.

grainger is an industrial parts supplier. smarts parts' recommended grease for shockers is dow 33, and they market some called sleek. dye's slick lube is widely disliked. it seems that hater sauce and slick honey seem to be the favorites, with dow 33 being next.

smart parts sleek = dow33
graingers is off ashley phosphate by the radio shack. or goto www.grainger.com

WARNING: slick honey is terrible in the cold weather, that is why i avoid it. i would rather use the same stuff all year, than change it when it is cold. but i do have a big jar of slick honey sitting here. just never used it.

that's why hater sauce is better. it's apparently better in the cold and outperforms slick honey overall.
