I just got a Tippmann A-5 (the camo version)d its a great gun, but im mod happy..lol. I would like to do what ever it takes to keep it reliable. I saw a billet bolt kit for sale. does it actualy help ? i know its said to be louder but noone says if it helps for gun life or reliability. is there anything that is a comon problem with these guns? Also i saw an electronic conversion that makes it so you can adjust rate of fire by a push of the button instead of mechanical like it is now. I have made it look the way i like but i just want it to be tough and work properly in the field...Thanks for any help.................Hal

usually the only thing that wears out on an A5 is the sear. but its normal. infact the sear is actually made of a softer metal so it wears out b4 your hammer does...but other than that they are super reliable already...

no problem-o...also if its a new gun to you, you should stop by the store during the week sometime and have one of the store workers walk you thru the regular maintenance, how to take it apart and put it back together properly, and what everything does. thats what i do when i get new guns im not too familiar w/...but goodluck w/ ur A5
