On the positive side they are like tanks. You can't beat them to death if you try. They are definately toward the top of all mechanical guns.
On the negative side, I can't shoot one to save my life. I tried and it just didn't work for me. If you haven't shot one then I would recommend trying one for a day to see if you like it. They have a different feel than many other guns out there.
One last positive, you have some of the best automag techs around at PBC. If Brad and Skeeter can't fix it then ole Tom Kaye himself may be perplexed.

geoff is not a bad mag tech himself.
chances are your mag WOULD be fixed no matter what day it is. since one (or all) of the three is always in the store.

i found that mags tend to be very accurate along with reliable. if you have the patience to build one yourself it can be just as accurate as a pump

i find matrices to be very accurate and reliable as well but they dont get to be all flaunted and shown off around pbc(sarcasm of course about the second part not the first)
let's not get into the which gun is more accurate discussion...

cockers are a bit finicky. and if you spend the time to get them working correctly, are great guns.
mags are mags... great guns to start with. easy to work on. need some oil every now and then.
i have owned both (still have cockers), and miss my mag (casey:yes4lo: ). looking to build another mag real soon.
