Exclamation Tippmann Probs

a freind of mine is having a problem with a tippmann and wants to kno what is could be. everytime it shoots the paintball just rolls out. would this be related to the velocity screw or something else?

not enough velocity or not enough air in the tank. stop by the shop, they can take a look at it

he figured out that the velocity screw was missing and ordered a new one before you responded but thanks anyway.

If the velocity screw is missing, you are going to be shooting HOT... Very HOT!!! Glad you have one ordered, but it's not the issue in this case.

Since it sounds like you have a LOW velocity issue, that could be a few different things:

1. Lack of CO2
2. Worn out main spring
3. Ball detent, in backwards (this is my guess)
4. Bad tank valve or an air restriction issue

Check your ball detent first. If it's in backwards, it blocks the bolt from traveling forward, and prevents a full release of air from the valve. It's an easy (and free) fix, once you figure out how to remove & re-install it, without taking the marker apart.
