RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. GOGGLES: Goggles must be worn on the paintball field, target range and chronograph station, at all times. The first infraction of the goggle rule will result in a verbal warning. The second infraction will result in the offender sitting out of the next game. The third and final infraction will result in ejection from the field, WITHOUT refund.

2. Barrel Plugs: Barrel Plus must be in place AT ALL TIMES in the staging area. Barrel Plugs should be removed, only at the direction of the referee, at the start of a game. Barrel Plugs can also be removed prior to chronographing or using the target range. The Barrel Plug should be used as an indicator (when in place) of a neutral or "eliminated" player. All player must have their Barrel Plug in place prior to leaving the playing field.

3. Eliminations: Any player who is marked (quarter size spot) with paint from a paintball (on or above the knees or on or above the elbows) will be eliminated. Hits on the lower legs, lower arms, or the marker are not considered eliminations. The accumulation of paint splatter to the size of aquarter, is sufficient for an elimination. In the event that a paintball does not break upon impact, or does not leave an adequate marking of paint, the player is not considered eliminated. Eliminated players should exit the field immediately, with the barrel plug in place, and the marker held above the players head.

4. Field Judges: In the event of a questionable hit, safety concerns or questions, a field judge can be called upon. The field judge can assist with equipment problems, perform paint checks or address safety issues. The field judge will make the final determination! Please refrain from shooting field judges.

5. Paint Checks: Request a field judge whenever a paint check is needed. Specify the area of the hit or indicate the opposing player that should be checked.

6. Use of the words "Hit" or "Out": The use of "Hit" or "Out" will ALWAYS indicate that the player saying the words is eliminated.

7. Surrender Rule: The option to surrender can be offered at any time on the field.

8. Paint Splatter: Splatter that has not accumulated to the size of a quarter is not an elimination.

9. Chronograph: The maximum velocity allowed is 285 FPS.

10. Flag Carry or Hang: The player carrying the flag must keep it visible at all times. If the flag carrier is eliminated, place the flag on the nearest tree or barricade, or give it to the nearest referee.

11. Field Boundaries: Crossing the boundary during a game indicates that the player is eliminated. Player are not allowed to shoot across boundaries.

12. No Physical Contact: Physical contact is not permitted and can result in ejection from the field, without refund.

13. Arguing with Field Judges: Arguing with official or field judges is not permitted. All calls made by the field judges are final.
